Welcome to Firenza Flowers and Florésie’s masterclass, hosted by Fiona and Laetitia who will be teaching you all they know about floral design and foam free techniques.

A session with four hands, to learn twice as much. Centerpiece techniques, bouquets, giant arrangements and large scale installations will be on the program during these two days that we already imagine will be full of surprises and magic...

Escape to the gorgeous and luxurious Burgundy region of France, located just three hours outside of Paris, where we will spend time together at Florésie’s design studio and garden set in an authentic small Burgundy village, surrounded by historic venues, wild fields and vineyards.

Join us as we wine and dine savoring traditional french cuisine, explore the surrounding nature slowly welcoming its warm autumn colors, forage, create and capture beauty as we share secrets, stories, laugh, relax and enjoy our time together.

The Speakers

FIONA PICKLES

Fiona has been in the floral industry since 2005, having re-trained after a career in the Print industry. Starting Firenza Flowers in the days before social media, Fiona knows first hand just how hard it was to establish a new business, without a shop and now relishes the fabulous opportunities social media offers floristry businesses,

Having established a career as a very successful and extremely busy wedding florist, Fiona stepped away from this world in 2015 to pursue her own, very individual style of floral design.

Fiona now works almost exclusively with British flowers and is heavily influenced by her lifelong love of the garden, growing many of her own flowers at her West Yorkshire home.

Specialising in large, dramatic floral installations, Fiona now spends most of her time teaching other florists who want to learn Fiona’s techniques and style. She also designs and creates large scale pieces of ‘floral art’ as private commissions, working mostly with hotels, gardens and stately homes.

LAETITIA MAYOR

In 2010, Laetitia, needing some professional fresh air from her engineering career, signed up for a one month program at the School of Florists in Paris. Never would she have guessed at that time that a beautiful floral journey was just about to start.

Based in Burgundy, surrounded by old stones, famous wineries and centuries old castles, Laetitia's work is a natural reflection of her surroundings. Both at ease in wild overgrowing woods as well as French manicured gardens, she has a passion for observing the seasonal impact on the vegetal kingdom.

Laetitia spends her time taking care of her family, planting her new garden in Burgundy, sharing her floristry experience with her students and creating floral decor for stylish couples from all over the world coming to Europe for their nuptials.
